I was born in small town Michigan with wanderlust in my blood, and the love of live music in my bones. My mom often recalls memories from her own childhood in which my grandpa would come home from work on a Friday evening, and he and my grandma would spontaneously decide to pack up the car and drive the nearly 500 miles south to Nashville to go the Opry and hear their favorites. While I’m not a country music fan, it’s no surprised that I ended up moving to Nashville in 2006 as college grad, though the open road and friendly skies often feel more like home.
I’ve spent many years following my favorite band on the road, and this blog started as a way for me to share those experiences, as well as my concert and music reviews, with the rest of the fandom. As the band has recently started taking some time off, I’m hoping to start traveling more without them, and this blog will continue to be a place for both as long as each keep going.
